Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer (Escalation) – Access Technology support, you will provide technical assistance and support to Calix customers and partners, troubleshooting and resolving complex network problems in a collaborative environment.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for Calix Access products.
  • Focus on Cloud-based EMS applications.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
  • Document outages and communicate risks.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers.

  • Update Salesforce tickets continuously.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Work flexible shifts including weekends.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with networking protocols and technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with SDN and containerization frameworks.
  • CCNA/CCNP/JNCIP/RHCSA/CISSP/NSE or equivalent desired.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
