LiveRamp is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure solutions that support real-time data processing while ensuring data security and high availability.

In Short

Design and implement infrastructure for real-time data processing.
Secure data infrastructure through policies and auditing solutions.
Maintain high availability of databases through automated tasks.
Troubleshoot data infrastructure issues and optimize query performance.
Evaluate new technologies for efficient data processing.

5+ years of experience in database management required.
Experience with Big Data platforms and NoSQL databases preferred.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is important.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years in database technologies.
2+ years with Big Data platforms.
Experience with streaming architectures like Apache Kafka.
Familiarity with ORM technologies like ActiveRecord.
Understanding of SQL query optimization.
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of automated QA needs for Big Data.
Solid programming skills in Java or Scala are a bonus.
Experience as a tech lead is a plus.
