Senior Database Engineer - Remote

Overview

Auria is looking to hire a Senior Database Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and deployment of the Enterprise Management & Control (EM&C) system for the Department of Defense (DOD) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Enterprise. The ideal candidate will design and implement multiple databases in multiple environments to support the engineering design and development of the EM&C system.

In Short

• Design, develop, test, and debug complex software solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Level 2 Security Certification within 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree with 16+ years of experience or Master's with 12+ years.
• Extensive experience with complex databases and data warehousing.
• Advanced knowledge of database security and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL on Windows and Linux.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
