Overview

The primary responsibility of a Business Wire Newsroom Editor is to accurately and efficiently prepare and transmit news releases over Business Wire’s circuits, contributing to the successful operation of Newsroom Operations.

In Short

• Format, edit, and proofread press releases quickly and accurately.
• Code releases based on client requests and suggest beneficial circuits.
• Contact clients to resolve issues with press releases.
• Monitor incoming orders and ensure timely handling.
• Assist other teams with overflow orders.
• Maintain knowledge of Business Wire products and services.
• Field client questions and guide them through the order submission process.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments.
• Communicate technical issues to the support teams.
• Run and submit daily distribution reports.
