Overview

The Newsroom Editor at Business Wire is responsible for accurately preparing and transmitting press releases, ensuring successful operation and communication within the Newsroom Operations team.

In Short

• Format, edit, and proofread press releases.
• Code releases based on client requests.
• Contact clients to resolve issues with their submissions.
• Monitor incoming orders and ensure timely handling.
• Assist other teams with overflow orders.
• Provide client support and guide them through the submission process.
• Authorize credit card payments as necessary.
• Run and submit daily distribution reports.
• Maintain knowledge of Business Wire products and services.
• Work overnight shifts from Mon-Fri 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM EST.
