Overview

The primary responsibility of a Business Wire Newsroom Editor is to accurately and efficiently prepare and transmit news releases over Business Wire’s circuits while ensuring the successful operation of Newsroom Operations.

In Short

• Format, edit and proofread press releases quickly and accurately.
• Code releases based on client requests and suggest beneficial distribution circuits.
• Contact clients regarding potential errors or issues with their orders.
• Monitor incoming orders for timely handling and successful transmission.
• Assist with overflow orders and perform shift-change duties as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Business Wire products and services.
• Guide clients through the order submission process on the website.
• Communicate technical issues to support teams promptly.
• Run and submit daily distribution reports to the billing department.
• Maintain a log of daily activities.
