The Federal Consumer Protection Agency is Germany's first independent organization where consumers represent themselves. We are free from state and party political influences and actively engage to bring the interests of society into political dialogue.

We need your commitment and expertise as a Legal Counsel (d/m/w) to further advance our mission and passion.

In Short

• Legal advice in association law, contract law, and data protection law.
• Review and design of contracts, statutes, and internal guidelines.
• Support in the legal assessment of projects and strategic initiatives.
• Close collaboration with other departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Participation in the development and implementation of compliance measures.
• Preparation of well-founded legal assessments and recommendations for action.

Requirements

• Completed law degree with first and second state examination or comparable legal qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of association law, contract law, and data protection law, ideally with experience in the non-profit sector.
• Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to present complex legal issues understandably.
• Proficient use of digital tools and Microsoft Office.
• High degree of initiative and responsibility.
• Willingness to work remotely and flexibly on a voluntary basis.
