Senior Software Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Connect and hands-on experience using Cyara and QTest. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality of our contact center solutions. The ideal candidate is proficient in creating robust test frameworks, managing test cases, and working collaboratively with development and operations teams to drive continuous quality improvements.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Amazon Connect call flows.
• Utilize Cyara to simulate real-world voice interactions and validate performance.
• Integrate and manage API-based tests using Postman or custom scripts.
• Develop, document, and manage test cases, plans, and suites within QTest.
• Track defects, analyze test results, and report on quality metrics.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide feedback on quality issues.
• Ensure all test documentation adheres to industry standards.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, including testing call flows.
• Proven expertise in using Cyara for automated testing.
• Experience managing test cases and defect tracking using QTest.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API testing and CI/CD integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
