Overview

Brillio is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to oversee the development, migration, and optimization of data systems within its enterprise infrastructure, focusing on modern cloud solutions.

In Short

Lead the migration of legacy data systems to Google BigQuery.
Design and implement ETL/data pipelines for real-time IoT data integration.
Analyze and modernize cloud data warehouse systems.
Develop scalable ETL workflows using Python, Spark, and GCP tools.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration.
Ensure data quality and consistency during migrations.
Utilize version control systems and CI/CD practices.
Strong background in cloud architecture and data warehousing.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
2+ years working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
Experience in building ETL pipelines with Apache Airflow, Python, and Spark.
Hands-on experience with streaming data ingestion.
Strong SQL development skills.
Understanding of cloud architecture and data warehouse design.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is preferred.
Familiarity with tools like dbt, Terraform, or Kafka is a plus.
Background in analytics or machine learning is advantageous.
