Operations Technician III - Remote

Overview

As an Operations Technician III in the Broadband NOC, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Broadband network, ensuring excellent customer experience and network reliability.

In Short

• Monitor and maintain the Broadband network.
• Evaluate, open/close trouble tickets.
• Work with field operations and tech support.
• Assist in card swaps and equipment restoration.
• Follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Communicate effectively with peers and customers.
• Work in a 24x7 environment.
• Provide Tier I support.
• Document network failures and maintenance activities.
• Analyze and resolve trouble situations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Broadband/DLSAM/Fiber network systems.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet router/switch equipment.
• Proficiency in interpersonal communications.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a Network Operations Center is a plus.
