IT Release Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an IT Release Manager to join our growing team! In this role, your primary responsibility is to work alongside various development and operations teams to guarantee the scheduling of releases, ensuring the smooth flow of changes through various pre-production environments, culminating in a successful deployment to production.

In Short

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of brightspeed IT release cycles.
• Oversee the end-to-end release process.
• Manage interdependencies to ensure delivery integrity.
• Create release guidelines for the company.
• Work with Engineering/Architects to assess release milestones.
• Define deployment plan interdependencies.
• Monitor and manage the deployment process.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues during release processes.
• Develop and maintain a release management plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in release management.
• Strong understanding of release management best practices.
• Working knowledge of SDLC and DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in developing documentation and training materials.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
• Experience managing distributed release processes.
