Overview

The External Account Manager at Brenntag Nigeria will build and maintain relationships with clients in the Nutrition business unit, focusing on business development and customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Manage a portfolio of category ‘A & B’ customers.
  • Broaden product range at customers.
  • Source new business opportunities.
  • Achieve sales GP targets and increase margins.
  • Conduct frequent follow-up calls and client visits.
  • Attend training and seminars for product knowledge.
  • Submit weekly call reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in selling short-dated stock.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a commercial field/sciences advantageous.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Marketing and Sales.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
