In Short

  • Responsible for the development of vehicle E/E architecture using integrated computer platforms such as ADAS ECU, vehicle computers, and infotainment systems.
  • Define systems and development responsibilities between OEMs and suppliers.
  • Allocate requirements from vehicle E/E architecture to respective systems and subsystems.
  • Analyze competitive technologies and conduct market research.
  • Engage in technical concept discussions with customers and coordinate with global development groups and related departments.
  • Identify challenges and difficulties in realizing vehicle E/E architecture early and connect them to product development solutions.
  • Expand business opportunities by understanding next-generation E/E architecture of major Japanese automotive manufacturers.
  • Disseminate acquired information to stakeholders and lead discussions for next actions.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in system and software architecture design in embedded systems.
  • Japanese communication skills with customers and English communication skills with other locations.
  • A mindset open to discussing acquired information.
  • A business spirit that connects higher-level requirements to product development.
  • Ability to coordinate technical concepts with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.
  • Knowledge or experience in development processes.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and management.
  • Leadership experience in system/software design teams or development projects.
  • Experience in communication and negotiation with customers.
  • Knowledge of network technologies such as communication protocols and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF (ISO 21448), and cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
