RAPP Chicago is looking for a System Architect to join our award-winning Technology team, leading the design, development, and deployment of Pega-based applications while leveraging AWS Cloud infrastructure.

In Short

Lead the design and implementation of Pega-based business applications.
Establish best practices for Pega application development.
Architect and implement scalable systems for operational workloads.
Integrate Pega with AWS services.
Optimize Pega deployments for cloud-native architectures.
Provide technical leadership to development teams.
Conduct code reviews and performance tuning.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
Design secure Pega solutions compliant with security policies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2-3+ years of experience in Pega development.
Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) required.
Deep expertise in Pega Platform versions (8.x preferred).
Experience in designing Pega applications with workflows and case management.
Hands-on experience with Pega integrations.
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.
Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Leadership capabilities to guide development teams.
