Senior Industrial Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Global Engineering & Operations Production Engineering organization is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering Team in Jacksonville, FL. The selected candidate will support maintenance, modification, and upgrades of various programs while working with a cross-functional team to analyze productivity, recommend resource allocations, and implement lean solutions to optimize the production system.

In Short

• Serve as site lead Industrial Engineer.
• Collaborate across teams such as operations, program, and engineering functions.
• Analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods.
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to optimize production.
• Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data.
• Strong project management skills and experience.
• Create project schedules and manage resources throughout the project life cycle.
• Evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security, and performance.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and documenting computing system requirements.
• Design, build, and test delivery systems and components.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with modeling techniques and project management.
• 10+ years of higher education or related work experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment.
• 1+ year of experience with Tableau or SQL.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
