Overview

The Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Jacksonville is seeking a General Aviation Maintenance Technician to provide critical maintenance repairs and modifications for military aircraft, directly impacting military warfighter readiness.

In Short

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of KC-46 aircraft systems.
• Work within fuel tanks to perform inspections and repairs.
• Interpret technical data such as maintenance manuals and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in aircraft systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Proven ability to work safely within aircraft fuel tanks.
• Experience with systems diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• 1+ years of experience reading technical manuals and blueprints.
• Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred.
• Experience with KC-46 or military tanker aircraft preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and environmental processes.
