General Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The General Maintenance Technician will focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment while completing work orders to ensure a safe and functional environment.

In Short

• Maintain lighting systems and assist in building maintenance
• Perform minor plumbing repairs
• Complete special tasks including painting and tenant service requests
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting client occupancy
• Respond to emergencies and comply with safety procedures
• Document work performance and materials procurement
• Assist in preventive maintenance of HVAC and other systems
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Maintain compliance with local ordinances and safety regulations
• Participate in ongoing training programs

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 ft
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Completion of a technical training program is preferred
• Experience with building automation systems is a plus
