General Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team at JLL, responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

In Short

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Install, maintain, and repair various types of machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks.
• Use CMMS system to track work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other departments for maintenance activities.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
