Maintenance Technician I - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure production and quality standards are met.

In Short

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair out-of-service equipment.
• Document maintenance issues and work in CMMS.
• Assist in facility/building project work as assigned.
• Analyze production delays and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of operating logs for facility systems.
• Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Available for overtime and on-call requests as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and other software.
• Experience with PLC logic systems.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
• Associates Degree in relevant fields preferred.
• Graduate of an apprenticeship program or trade certification preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance for large facilities preferred.
