Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings and maintenance equipment.

In Short

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service various mechanical devices.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer service requests.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems.
• Perform carpentry and snow removal as necessary.
• Comply with all applicable codes and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule availability for emergency situations.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
