General Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The General Maintenance Technician will conduct inspections and perform maintenance on facility and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of facilities.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Complete general building repairs, including drywall and door repairs.
• Maintain HVAC and mechanical systems as per schedules.
• Support GMP-related tasks and ensure compliance in cleanroom environments.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Respond to internal work order requests promptly.
• Work in various environments including labs and mechanical rooms.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• May involve shift work and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience required.
• Experience in a regulated, GMP, healthcare, or cleanroom setting preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and general building trades.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and documentation procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
