Overview

The Pharmacy Operations Specialist is a key role responsible for supporting the successful establishment and optimization of our clients' specialty pharmacy services, ensuring compliance and best-in-class operations.

• Drive successful planning and execution of pharmacy build-outs and new client implementations.
• Manage project tools including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder meetings to align on project milestones.
• Manage implementation and integration of pharmacy technology systems.
• Oversee credentialing and licensing applications for pharmacy operations.
• Design operational workflows and training materials to ensure compliance.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance.
• Possess extensive knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and regulations.
• Exhibit strong communication and project management skills.
• Travel up to 20% domestically for onsite assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in specialty pharmacy or accreditation body.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Robust project management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and focus on compliance.
• Effective change management abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is a bonus.
