UX Designer and Researcher - Remote

Overview

BlueVoyant is seeking a UX Designer and Researcher to join our growing Cyber Defense Platform design team. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to craft the vision and design for our Cyber Defense Platform, helping users navigate systems used to identify and resolve security risks.

In Short

• Collaborate with key stakeholders in design processes.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research.
• Deliver UX artifacts like wireframes and prototypes.
• Facilitate design reviews throughout the design cycle.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure compliance with criteria.
• 3-6+ years of experience in UX design and research.
• Experience designing for security software is a plus.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.
• Experience in customer-facing portals and data visualizations.
• Knowledge of user research practices.

• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
