Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

BlueVoyant is seeking an experienced multi-cloud Infrastructure Engineer to play a central role in the design, implementation and delivery of key components of our infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

In Short

• Lead specific infrastructure projects from design to deployment.
• Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues.
• Eliminate manual tasks via configuration management tools.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure services.
• Coordinate with technology leads on global standards and procedures.
• Perform vendor coordination for onboarding and support.
• Participate in all stages of the agile software development life-cycle.
• Maintain knowledge of technology standards and industry trends.
• Apply cost-savings strategies to limit cloud spend.
• Lead team stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Linux OS and system administration.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Ruby.
• Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with Agile development and cloud deployment principles.
• Familiarity with AWS components and services.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code frameworks like Terraform.
• Experience with container-based deployment technologies.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or relevant field experience.
• Background in large-scale database environments.
