Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re a startup on a mission to scale quickly to Series A. We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who can take full ownership of our infrastructure as we scale towards Series A and beyond. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be shaping the backbone of our systems driving best practices, security, scalability, and thrive on complex technical challenge.

• Full rebuild of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and implementation of a secure VPN solution.
• Management and monitoring of all infrastructure components.
• AWS cost optimisation across services.
• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Security and access controls across infrastructure.
• Documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration with engineering teams for deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with blockchain and fintech systems.
• Experience setting up VPNs and security groups.
• Track record of optimising AWS costs.
• Comfortable owning infrastructure end-to-end.
• Experience debugging systems in Elixir, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Bonus: Hands on experience with Elixir.
