In Short

• Architect and run globally distributed platform services.
• Continuously evolve our compute, edge, observability, and deployment layers.
• Lead with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and SLO-driven operations.
• Design, develop, and ship internal platform services in Go or Python.
• Codify infrastructure with Terraform and Go.
• Advance observability by operating metrics, logs, and alerting pipelines.
• Evolve Docker’s ingress stack for secure and reliable request routing.
• Build and operate self-serve cloud resource provisioning platforms.
• Deliver real-time cost visibility and lead cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Mentor newer engineers and influence engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong software development skills in Go, Python, Java or similar.
• Significant experience shipping and operating cloud infrastructure.
• Solid foundation in Linux, Networking, and Cloud Security.
• Excellent cross-collaboration and communication in a remote environment.
• Depth in Kubernetes ecosystem and Containerization is a plus.
• Experience with Observability tooling is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD & release automation is a plus.
• Experience in cost optimization at scale is a plus.
