Manager, Events - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Events assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Events Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Events, this position creates seamless event experiences and helps to manage the daily operations of the Events Team.

In Short

• Develop event concepts, objectives, and timelines.
• Create detailed event plans and checklists.
• Track project management for the Events team.
• Support day-to-day Event team management.
• Draft RFPs and manage the proposal process.
• Schedule prep calls and briefings with leadership and stakeholders.
• Support vendor contract negotiations.
• Post-event evaluation and reporting.
• Complete Hive project management for Events team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and GSuite products.
• Experience working in a virtual environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility with work schedule.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs.
