VP of Finance - Remote

Overview

As the VP of Finance at Blockworks, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of all financial, accounting, and reporting strategies, playing a key role in the sustainable growth of the business.

In Short

• Own company-wide financial operations including budgeting and forecasting.
• Work alongside leaders to inject financial data into decision-making processes.
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial and operational reporting metrics.
• Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
• Design and implement legal compliance policies.
• Communicate financial performance updates to leadership.
• Engage in coaching to improve financial acumen across the organization.
• Drive impact through data and reporting.
• Collaborate with co-founders on investor relations.

Requirements

• Experience leading finance for a 50-150+ size company in a fast-growing startup.
• Several years of experience in high-growth technology or crypto startups.
• Hands-on experience in the crypto industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented and able to operate autonomously.
• Ability to leverage data in decision-making.
• Experience in raising funds is a plus.
• Experience with token launches is a plus.
• Ability to partner with leaders to grow financial operations globally.
