As a Senior Back-End Engineer at Blockchain.com, you will play a critical role in building financial and crypto-native products, services, and APIs, while advocating best engineering practices.

• Part of the Brokerage - Payments team enabling blockchain customers to deposit and withdraw.
• Develop and integrate APIs from payment providers and banks.
• Resolve customer issues with the FinOps team.
• Advocate for best practices, code quality, and test coverage.
• Optimize systems for scalability and performance.
• Ensure security through advanced encryption schemes.
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language.
• 7+ years of experience in building production-ready distributed backend systems.
• Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
• Customer-focused with a commitment to enhancing customer experience.
• High levels of test coverage and strong technical documentation.
• Exposure to technologies like Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Passion for crypto and its transformative potential.
