Senior Back-End Engineer - Remote

Overview

Rumble is seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Engineer to oversee the design and writing of code written in the Typescript and Golang programming languages.

In Short

• Develop robust, efficient, and clean code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Design and implement backend services that interface with various APIs.
• Take full ownership of feature development or microservices from design to implementation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve minor bugs across multiple programming languages.

• Help elevate the skill set of junior developers through mentorship.
• Continuously review and assess existing codebases for optimization.

Requirements

• Expert level experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Moderate experience in JavaScript, Typescript, Golang.
• Proven success working with advanced data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with data systems such as MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
• Proficient with object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with concurrent programming and goroutines.
