Data Engineer - Technical Lead for A.I. Business Unit - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineer at Blackpoint Cyber, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing data engineering processes and infrastructure to support the development of A.I. products and features, directly contributing to the cybersecurity mission.

In Short

• Lead data engineering efforts for A.I. products.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for A.I. and Machine Learning.
• Define and implement ETL processes for high-velocity data ingestion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Security Operations.
• Ensure data lifecycle best practices are followed.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions.
• Utilize cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS.
• Implement data models and schemas for A.I. development.
• Monitor and optimize data storage and processing technologies.
• Support the delivery of A.I. products into production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with data streaming and event-driven processing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience with containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of GitFlow and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Cybersecurity, IoT, or NLP fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies is a plus.
