In Short

• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe and appropriate use of BioMarin therapies.
• Support Voxzogo product initiation and ongoing therapy.
• Collaborate with clinics and BioMarin account team.
• Conduct in-home visits with patients and caregivers.
• Provide in-person reinforcement of injection training.
• Use motivational interviewing to empower patients.
• Participate in patient educational events.
• Demonstrate leadership within the team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on achondroplasia and VOXZOGO.
• Identify and solve obstacles and trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience as a patient educator.
• 4+ years of direct patient care experience in rare diseases.
• Education as an allied health care professional.
• Successful background check.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Willingness to travel to see patients in their homes.
• Some overnight travel required (up to 30%).
