DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Binti is a Series B startup on a mission to reinvent child welfare. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help us build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Pulumi and TypeScript.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using BuildKite.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide effective infrastructure solutions.
• Plan and execute strategies for scaling infrastructure.
• Optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.
• Document infrastructure configurations and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience with infrastructure as code, ideally using Pulumi.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like BuildKite.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
