DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Blend, you will play a pivotal role transitioning machine learning MVPs and POCs from development environments to robust standalone API services in production, collaborating closely with the data science team.

In Short

• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for APIs and ML workloads.
• Containerize services using Docker for portability and performance.
• Support testing and packaging of Python applications.
• Schedule and maintain SQL-based data jobs.
• Contribute to innovation efforts including generative AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with Python packaging and testing frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with GenAI technologies is a plus.
