DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Binti is a Series B startup on a mission to reinvent child welfare. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help us build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Pulumi and TypeScript.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using BuildKite.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Honeycomb.
• Collaborate with development teams for effective infrastructure solutions.
• Plan and execute strategies for scaling infrastructure.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for cost control.
• Develop disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Automate tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Document infrastructure configurations and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally using Pulumi.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
