General Ledger Accountant - Remote

Overview

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant will work remotely during standard US Pacific Time business hours, playing a key role in the accounting process for BH Properties, a commercial real estate investment firm.

In Short

• Perform all accounting tasks related to assigned properties.
• Assist in the monthly closing of accounting books.
• Handle CAM reconciliation and respond to tenant inquiries.
• Review bank reconciliations prepared by team members.
• Open new bank accounts as needed for property transactions.
• Prepare reports for management as assigned.
• Complete additional projects assigned by accounting management.

Requirements

• Accounting degree and CPA license required.
• Cum laude or better graduate from university.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in real estate accounting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Yardi experience preferred.
