General Ledger Accountant - Remote

Overview

The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting tasks related to properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

In Short

• Perform all accounting tasks for assigned properties.
• Manage monthly closing of accounting books.
• Conduct CAM reconciliation and respond to tenant inquiries.
• Review bank reconciliations prepared by team members.
• Open new bank accounts post-property transactions.
• Prepare reports for accounting management.
• Complete additional projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Accounting degree and CPA license required.
• Cum laude or better graduate.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in real estate accounting is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and team player.
• Yardi experience is a plus.
