Software Solutions Designer, Logistic Systems - Remote

Overview

The Software Solutions Designer is a high-visibility, high-impact, customer facing role, responsible for developing and executing strategies for the BEUMER Group organization in North America, and for leading and managing our technical software sales efforts to achieve company objectives relating to customer, market, and financial outcomes within the Logistic Systems Division.

In Short

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for logistics systems.
• Design end-to-end logistics solutions, including WCS, TMS, and inventory management systems.
• Evaluate logistics technologies and software applications.
• Develop integration strategies for logistics systems.
• Design data models and database schemas for logistics data.
• Analyze logistics workflows to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials.
• Support Sales by assisting in functional design and descriptions.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for software development.
• Coordinate software activities with other BEUMER companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics technologies and systems.
• Proficiency in system design and architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management experience.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
