Quality, Safety, and Environment Manager - Remote

Overview

The company is a leading player in construction in the Walloon region, part of the BESIX Group, and is looking for a Quality, Safety, and Environment Manager to enhance their existing SQE service.

In Short

• Responsible for the SQE service (Safety - Quality - Environment).
• Develop a safety culture and ensure continuous awareness of safety.
• Monitor legislation related to safety and analyze risks.
• Conduct site visits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with SQE certifications (VCA, ISO9001, ISO 14001).
• Participate in monthly meetings with management.
• Lead a team of two collaborators.
• Implement and improve SQE measures on-site and in offices.
• Communicate effectively and motivate colleagues.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering in Construction.
• Safety certification level 1.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and natural authority.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented and precise.
• Proficient in French writing and spelling.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
