Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Associate - Remote

Overview

The Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Associate is responsible for reviewing and verifying the Safety and Health Programs, Procedures, and Training Pre-qualification requirements on behalf of AVETTA Clients and Supplier Members.

In Short

• This is an entry level/early career position.
• Ideal candidates will have a Cert IV or diploma in WHS.
• Requires full working rights in New Zealand.
• Conduct Manual Audits and client specific audits.
• Assist suppliers with addressing gaps or deficiencies from the audit.
• Respond promptly to supplier inquiries.
• Record details of inquiries and complaints.
• Be available to travel to conduct WHS site audits.
• Audits will be reviewed by experienced QHSE Professionals.
• Knowledge of APAC applicable Region WHS Standards is essential.

Requirements

• A current Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant high-risk industries is an advantage.
• Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO certifications is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation is required.
