Wholesale Mortgage Closer - Remote

Overview

The Wholesale Closer will be instrumental in maintaining the dynamic environment and helping meet the closing date by preparing and approving the closing disclosure, preparing all closing documents, and scheduling loan closings.

In Short

• Review loan files for accuracy and compliance prior to closing.
• Prepare and approve the Closing Disclosure.
• Prepare all closing documents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Broker, Account Executive, and settlement agent to schedule closing date and time.
• Coordinate with various departments to reconcile any file defects.
• Calculate loan interest, principal payment, escrow fees, and closing costs prior to closing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage closing experience required.
• Wholesale Closing experience required.
• Experience with Encompass preferred.
• Complete understanding of TRID guidelines.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of legal documents.
• Knowledge of residential closing conditions.
