Beam Benefits is seeking an Analytics Engineering Manager to lead data initiatives and collaborate across teams to enhance the data infrastructure of the company.

In Short

• Lead data lakehouse initiatives and strategy.
• Coordinate with engineering partners for data stability and scalability.
• Serve as a primary resource for data architecture decisions.
• Support analytics engineering tech stack and maintain pipelines.
• Manage and mentor a team of analytics engineers.
• Define SLAs for data sets supporting production services.
• Design and build data pipelines and warehouse systems.
• Implement an Incident Response Framework for data availability.
• Translate business processes into understandable data models.
• Build predictive analytics solutions using machine learning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science.
• 1+ year of team management experience.
• Proficiency in dbt, SQL, Dagster, Fivetran, Google Bigquery, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling methods.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and Agile methodology.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong technical and people leadership abilities.
• Experience with object, relational, and columnar data stores.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
• Experience in a healthcare technology environment is a plus.
