Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant - Remote

Overview

As a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant with Banner Bank, you will support the functions of a high producing Loan Officer by performing clerical duties, including verifying, compiling, and completing mortgage loan application information and providing exceptional customer service.

• Facilitate communication between Loan Officer, clients, and various stakeholders.
• Manage pipeline schedules and deadlines for loans.
• Assist in marketing projects and mailings.
• Follow up on missing items from borrowers.
• Enter loan applicant data using processing software.
• Pull credit reports as requested by Loan Officer.
• Maintain knowledge of loan programs and regulations.
• Perform various administrative duties as assigned.
• Comply with policies and government regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in residential mortgage loan processing and/or underwriting.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan origination processes and regulations.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze complex loan structures.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws related to real estate lending.
