Overview

As a CRE Portfolio Manager II in the Affordable Housing Division, you will be responsible for underwriting complex affordable housing construction and permanent loan originations, providing strong recommendations based on thorough analysis of affordable housing credits.

In Short

  • Analyze and investigate credit and financial information on prospective and existing customers.
  • Prepare credit requests, modifications, and extensions within the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Loan Administration and Credit Administration in loan closings.
  • Track and analyze financial information of new, renewed, and existing loans.
  • Manage credit files to ensure receipt of current financial information.
  • Assist CRE Relationship Managers in management of customer relationships.
  • Perform site visits of existing and potential projects.
  • Manage portfolio priorities including reporting issues and loan performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Work in a culture that values employee experience and community involvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or related field.
  • 6 or more years of banking credit analysis experience required.
  • Preferred experience in Affordable Housing/LIHTC credit analysis.
  • Advanced analytical skills and knowledge of financial accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws relating to Commercial Real Estate Lending.
