As a Senior Engineering Manager in Back Market's Cloud Infrastructure team, you will lead and mentor a talented group of engineers, focusing on reliable and sustainable infrastructure services across Europe, the US, and APAC.

• Lead and mentor a cloud infrastructure team of 8 engineers.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, SRE, and Engineering Productivity teams.
• Handle operational responsibilities and incident management.
• Treat infrastructure as a product with metrics-driven approaches.
• Prioritize and evolve the team’s roadmap based on feedback.
• Take ownership of cost-efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Support iteration and experimentation within the team.
• Help the team grow using Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing infrastructure/platform engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure tooling.
• Experience in treating infrastructure delivery as products.
• Focus on cost efficiency and sustainability.
• Comfortable with incident coordination and complex operations.
• Pragmatic and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
