SEO Strategist - Remote

Overview

Back Market is looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented SEO Strategist to support our mission of making refurbished tech the first choice around the world.

In Short

• Support On-site SEO managers by designing and conducting SEO content experiments across multiple markets.
• Audit content performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs.
• Partner with the technical and partnerships SEO teams on global projects.
• Work alongside agencies and content teams to QA SEO implementations.
• Collaborate with On-site SEO Managers to interpret performance trends.
• Introduce or manage AI tools to improve SEO workflows.
• Support internal documentation of SEO standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in SEO analysis, content strategy, or SEO operations.
• 1+ years experience using AI tools for workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of on-site SEO fundamentals.
• Analytical / Data skills (Data Studio, Tableau, GA4, Google Search Console).
• Comfortable working across markets and teams.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data meaningfully.
