In Short

Be the technical leader of device state/notifications, partner integration, and mobile apps teams.
Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
Review key architecture designs from senior engineers, enforcing high standards.
Write well-tested, maintainable code and lead technical reviews.
Assess engineering risks and guide strategic initiatives.
Mentor and coach other senior engineers.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
Deliver experiences that improve safety and efficiency for users.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience designing and building complex, highly-available cloud systems.
Knowledge of data storage systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with stream processing and message brokers.
(Nice to have) Experience with web frontend technologies like React, Redux, and Typescript.
(Nice to have) Experience with native mobile apps (iOS or Android).
(Nice to have) Experience with Maps/Cartography.
Ability to empathize with customers and collaborate on feature design.
