In Short

• Lead the design of systems that connect live video, geospatial data, automated alerts, and multi-agency communication.
• Conduct research to understand users' needs and motivations.
• Apply human-centered design principles across the product development cycle.
• Build prototypes and conduct usability testing.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation activities.
• Present research findings and design directions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, product, engineering, and business teams.
• Improve design processes and co-creation practices.
• Define Axon-wide design patterns and processes.
• Mentor designers and champion design culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with 4+ years leading initiatives.
• Experience with customers to understand their needs.
• Experience in designing complex products and services.
• Portfolio showcasing design and research work.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in critical systems or public safety is a plus.
