Legal Counsel (m/f/d) in IT Law - Remote

In Short

• Provide legal advice on IT law issues, especially regarding new technologies and digital business models.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in areas such as SaaS, cloud computing, technology licenses, and data protection.
• Support compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and optimize data protection processes.
• Assist in exciting projects like software implementations, technology procurement, or IT outsourcing.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, acting as a liaison between law, technology, and management.

Requirements

• Completed first and second state examinations, ideally with a specialization or LL.M. in IT law.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT law, preferably in an international law firm or company.
• Solid knowledge of contract law, particularly regarding digital technologies and IT services.
• Experience in SaaS, cloud computing, and technology licenses.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work on-site for client projects.
