QHSE Associate - Remote

Overview

The Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Associate is responsible for reviewing and verifying the Safety and Health Programs, Procedures, and Training Pre-qualification requirements on behalf of AVETTA Operators and Contractor Members.

In Short

• Conduct Manual Audits to assess Contractor’s Safety and Health Programs.
• Assist customers with closing gaps or deficiencies from audits.
• Provide guidance documents for policy/procedure development.
• Perform customer verifications and audit closure assistance.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Record details of inquiries and complaints.
• Forward complaints to the Audit Manager.
• Must have reliable transportation; travel nationally up to 30% of the time.
• Regular and predictive attendance is required.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret regulatory and industry best practices.
• Affinity for learning online software systems.
• Working PC knowledge, preferably Windows.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish or French preferred.
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
